Make a prim.  Make it invisible by setting the texture to a
transparent texture, or by doing llSetAlpha(0.0,ALL_SIDES).  Make it
emit light that you like (see the relevant section of the edit
control).  Wear it, probably on your head somewhere.  Position it so
you like the lighting effect.  Voila: facelight!  (Note if you make it
obnoxiously bright people will conclude that you are an annoying
n00b.)
