Inviting an avatar to a group

It could be limited to only operate for agents keys that are in the  
scripts detection buffer, eg:

touch_start(integer n)
     key id = llDetectedKey(0);
     if(id == current_renter)
         llInviteAgentToGroup(land_group, id);

That way you would only be getting invites from objects you interact
