As SecondLife is processor intensive, and not necessarily GPU intensive, there will not be a huge performance gain form using a second graphics card. However you are correct that by default SL will not use more than one Nvidia card. This is because there is no SLI profile for SecondLife. You can make your own however, or choose to force SLI on in Nvidia Control panel. Rumor has it that choosing to force "Alternate Frame Rendinering 2" mode may give you a small fps boost.

I don't think this is a matter of SecondLife not supporting SLI as much as SLI just isn't what SL needs to run smoothly.

> I'm currently having an issue regarding the Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT graphics card in relation to Second Life. It appears as if second life is not recognizing the fact that I'm in Scalable Link Interface (SLI) mode and utilizes only one of my graphics processing units. Is second life compatible with SLI technology? If not will this be available for future updates? I would really like to integrate this technology into my Second Life as it would increase productivity on my client machine, and make things run quite a bit smoother as well. If it is available, how does one set up their machine to run in tandom with second life so that they can utilize it?
