The scenario is as following:

1. I give an object to a resident close to me
2. That resident discard the object
3. A message like: [2010/01/18 6:25]  Mylene Baily declined your inventory offer. shows in chat
3. The resident verifies that the object is not in his/her inventory
4. The resident relogs
5. Now the object is in his/her inventory.
6. I expected to not find the declined object

I verified personally now being in the role of the receiver

This behavior was reported to me by  Mylene Baily
