Robin Cornelius commented on SNOW-432:

that is odd, i can only assume that you are right that it has been spawned in a parallel thread, never seen this myself. I usualy at the start of build see all the packages download and unpack then the actual building starts.

Does it download other libraries ok? what version of cmake are you using? can you run the process with VERBOSE=1 added on the end

> Key: SNOW-432
> URL: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SNOW-432
> Project: 6. Second Life Snowglobe - SNOW
> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: Snowglobe 1.3
> Environment: linux builds, snowglobe trunk, version 3087,
> Reporter: Vex Streeter
> APR library is used by various basic packages (llplugin, llmessage, llcommon) but doesn't get installed in the build's library directory until later in the process. This causes the first build attempt to fail, but the second one to succeed.

> I cannot tell without digging deeper if the prebuilt lib process is spawned in a parallel thread and happens not to complete, or if the problem is a missing ordering constraint of some sort.
