-------------------------------------

Aziya, please right click on your avatar and detach all attachments and HUDs. Then access & wear the Default avatar, see [How do I get a default avatar?|https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/How_do_I_get_a_default_avatar%3F] Log out of the Viewer.

Unplug your modems and routers for a full minute, then plug them back in and log back into Second Life.

Before you log into Second Life please [Clear the Cache from Outside Second Life|http://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417&task=knowledge&questionID=4234] You can check the Disk Cache location from the login screen Edit > Preferences > Network.
Log into Region Pooley, see [How to appear in a different location upon login|http://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417&task=knowledge&questionID=3978] and let your Inventory fully load.

Then while you are still at Pooley, individually wear your Shape, Skin, hair, clothes, AO, HUDs etc.

If it is still an issue, please try completely uninstalling +all+ Second Life Viewers, saving any chat logs, if you wish. [How do I fully uninstall and reinstall Second Life?|http://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417&task=knowledge&questionID=3926]

Please make sure the Second Life Cache, User Settings and content of any Temporary folders are also deleted. Reboot your computer.

Then download the latest Viewer Second Life Version Number: 1.23.5.136262 from here [Second Life® Installer|http://secondlife.com/support/downloads.php], save the programme to your Desktop and install.

Log into Second Life and let your Inventory fully load.

Make sure you have the [latest drivers|http://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417&task=knowledge&questionID=3884] for your video card.

If you're using wireless networking, you should try troubleshooting with a direct wired connection; we allow, but do not support the use of wireless network connections.

> My avatar has a strange white thing in it's head. I have no idea what it is or how it got there. I believe it is something that happened after going to the shadow bot factory in world to become a shadow bot. Though I am not positive. It looks very very close to my what my second life partner has in his head.. Pic attached.
