Gwyneth Llewelyn updated VWR-14751:

I also find this incredibly useful, if it ever gets implemented. In my case, I usually switch across three different settings all the time — for normal use, for extra-laggy sims, and what I call "Ultra-Plus" for taking snapshots (i.e. not only the settings on the Ultra tab, but also on the Advanced Settings on the Debug menu, and setting Hardware-based things like Anti-aliasing, Anisotropic filtering, a different Advanced Sky/Water setting, and the like). Fortunately I remember most of those settings, but it's a pain to configure them all over again when I just wish to take a snapshot — and then get back to my regular settings.

Luisa Bourgoin has created the image I've posted (taken from http://luh1.gofreeserve.com/snapshots/profile%20selector.jpg) as a further suggestion on how this might be implemented.

> I often change the settings in Preference->Graphics i.E. for high quality Snapshots (all settings to high, but cant play with that) or go to an very full Sim (all settings to low to make the client faster).
> I think it will be fine if it possible to store personal settings in profiles (like in the Advanced Sky Editor) so the user can save the Graphics settings and easy switch them.
> This settings should store all Graphics related settings (incl. Hardware settings (for anti-alias and memory..))
> i.E. like in my image (i designed).
> (sorry for my bad english)
