Alice, as Alexa Linden commented - 12/Oct/09 01:48 PM Resolution Needs More Info

{quote}
Who was the individual sending you the message when you experienced this?
{quote}

And which Viewer were they using ?

Re "chat moderation does not work either."

{quote}
[Moderate group voice & text chat|http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Video_Tutorial/Moderate_group_voice_&_text_chat]
The moderation facility is only applicable to the current session. If someone wishes to deliberately disrupt proceedings, they can leave and rejoin the chat. Moderation is not persistant. See VWR-8830

Re "Ejecting person does not kick them from chat" please add your comments and vote on SVC-32

Re [Resolution statuses|https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Issue_Tracker/Status]
{quote}
*Resolved*
    An implicit assignment back to the reporter of the issue. It's not closed yet, but rather in a state of limbo that depends on the resolution.

*Needs More Info*
        The issue lacks actionable information. Add the info or it CAN'T be investigated.

>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: Chat/IM, Groups
>    Affects Versions: 1.22
>         Environment: Second Life 1.22.11 (113941) Mar  6 2009 12:50:02 (Second Life Release)

>            Priority: Major
>
> While in group chat, if you type and send to the group. you receive the following.
> [any time you chat yourself']: doesn't matter what you say it will come out this way.
> [7:43] Name Removed (busy response): The Resident you messaged is in 'busy mode' which means they have requested not to be disturbed. Your message will still be shown in their IM panel for later viewing.
> Person who's name was removed was removed from the group via eject but that only affects AFTER they reboot that they will be out of the group chat.
> received the standard message upon his ejecting.
> [7:42] Steve Fallingbridge: Name Removed has been ejected from 'TE3K Shadow Guild' by Steve Fallingbridge.
> [7:42] Name Removed is Online
> This user was already online though in contacts list.
> workable fix is to have every user of the group mute the offending name, of person who's client is sending busy message to group chat.
> This is happening with all groups that the person is in. The group is owned by myself, and its being buggy with the one person only.
> I have added in another avatar to the group to see if it happens with anyone, which it does even after I the ejecting of said person from the group.
> Those who come in after his ejecting, even as new to the group, still see the message but not his name as a group member.
> This is a show stopper bug, please contact in world to discuss further
