hey yo! *wag tail*

today i was able to make a amd64 Snowglobe package: Snowglobe-x86_64-1.1.3.0.tar.bz2...

funnily it doesn't need fmod anymore, although i provided the amd64 version fmodapi42800linux64.tar.gz...

and it doesnt use llmozlib, but that is ok, because i like to use 1 central browser, that knows my bookmarks and history...

there were lots of "&& / || precedence warnings", that became errors due to some compiler flag...
and the include directories were not like fedora core 11 likes it...
and gcc 4.4 seems to dislike empty parameter lists in #define statemens...
so i had to change some things...

oh - and the SLVoice process is taken from the current 32bit beta release...

and this page gave me some strength:
http://imprudenceviewer.org/wiki/Compiling_64bit_issues
:-)

i wonder why linden lab doesnt do it like me?
it didnt take much time and most problems would need a fix for building the 32bit package, 2...

bye

> This is an umbrella feature request for making Linux 64-bit into a fully supported platform for binaries. This would include:
> 1. Linden Lab-provided native Linux 64-bit builds of the viewer
> 2. Linden Lab-provided native Linux 64-bit library bundles for open source developers
> This issue is created to collect discussion and justification for this. As of June 2009, Linux 64-bit adoption seems to be running at roughly 24.6% of total Linux desktop users: (Source http://smolt.fedoraproject.org/static/stats/stats.html )
