I asked a couple of my Pepperdine CadreX colleagues that I knew had explored
engagement a bit, and Jeff Ertzenberger, recommended the following:

"Exploring the Role of Visualization and Engagement in Computer Science
Education," Report of the Working Group on "Improving the Educational Impact
of Algorithm Visualization"

Subject: [SLED] Engagement measure

Hey you fabulous SLEDers! I'm in an academic time crunch looking for some
standard way to measure engagement in education. I'm checking card catalogs
and databases but I thought I'd ask all you geniuses too. Any names come to
mind?
